Meet Anthony Ferraioli, the Product Specialist at our GWS-Arizona facility, formerly known as Intrepid Tool Industries. In this position, Anthony’s responsibilities include technical support, custom tool quotations, and general customer service in and around aircraft tooling solutions.

Depth of Knowledge

During his almost 10-year career, Anthony has risen through the ranks and brought his accumulated experience with him. He first started as an OD Grinder, constantly learning and honing his skills until he was elevated to the role of Production Assistant. His experience in making tools ultimately landed him into his current position as Product Specialist. “I love the people I work with every day and enjoy helping our customers, especially in the aerospace industry.”, he said. “I especially appreciate the commitment to the team here at GWS-AZ, the combined team effort is what makes us so successful.”

A Long and Winding Journey

Like many people who find their way to GWS Tool Group, Anthony had quite the journey getting there. Born in Staten Island, NY, Anthony grew up with a love of baseball and knew he had to pursue it further. After convincing his parents to move the family to Phoenix, Arizona for a chance to play baseball for Arizona State University, Anthony then found his calling for the priesthood. He went to seminary school and eventually enlisted in the Army as a Chaplain’s Assistant. After serving in the 3^rd Ranger Battalion, Anthony unfortunately suffered a heatstroke during his service and soon found himself a disabled veteran looking for his next opportunity. Over the next years, he worked many customer facing jobs that would help prepare him for the relationship building he now does every day. While it was a journey with many curves that led him to GWS-AZ, Anthony says that he enjoys his work and appreciates that we hire veterans and always make sure our employees have what they need for the job.

A Family Man and Aspiring Painter

When Anthony is not busy giving the best service to his customers, the married father of two loves to spend his time playing piano, gardening, or painting his next masterpiece. He is not your typical hobbyist painter though; Anthony has sold some of his own paintings! Besides painting, one of the things Anthony does that many of his coworkers may not know is spending time with cancer patients. He tries to help them with sound healing and enjoys doing anything he can to help others.
