March 15, 2021 – Jeff Dunlop has filled a position of Sales Director – Strategic Accounts through GWS Tool Group.
Jeff has been working in the cutting tool industry for the past 13 years, focusing mainly on industrial distribution alongside tool manufacturing and PVD coating. Beginning his career in customer service at a New England tool manufacturer, he took an immediate interest in the cutting tool industry. This soon led to rapid progression into internal positions such as inventory management, vendor relations and operations management. Jeff was constantly growing his experience from every facet of the cutting tool manufacturing process, all the while still maintaining an inside sales role.
Excelling in these positions, while thriving in the relationship building aspect of the position, led Jeff into the position of Manager of Sales & Applications – Eastern States and eventually into Manager of Sales – National Accounts. His proven experience and cutting tool knowledge gained working in the distribution side of cutting tool manufacturing and PVD coating has armed him to effectively build strong business relationships with distributors both large and small alike.
In this new role with us, Jeff will be responsible for developing and growing distributor relationships using unique programs that support growth in the standard product categories that GWS has to offer. Cutting tools from GWS include both standard and purpose-built tooling such as end mills, form tools, step tools, drills, reamers, taps, PCD tipped tooling along with countless variations of special turning inserts.
